Custom made ornaments make a lovely gift for not only the holiday season, but for any special occasion. Put them on your tree to decorate at Christmas or keep them out all year as an art piece; either way, they become a keepsake to be treasured!

       Portrait ornaments are one of the most popular requests I receive. Not only can humans be painted on an ornament, your pets can also be painted onto an ornament too! Each ornament is a hand painted, one of a kind piece of art! Included with each ornament is a decorative spiral hook offered in either silver or gold. Each ornament is packaged in it's own box for safe keeping.

        Portrait ornaments are offered in 2 sizes of glass ornament bulbs, either 4 in. or 5 in., respectively. 4 in. ornaments may only contain one portrait per bulb, while a 5 in. ornament may contain 2 or more portraits, depending on the photo being used. 

       Photos may be given to me directly, mailed or images may be emailed to me. I always appreciate a photo that is crisp and clear. I tell my clients the better the photo the better the painting! If photos are directly given to me, I ask that you NOT give me the original, rather, if possible, give me a copy. If you cannot, that is fine. Also, it is possible to create a double portrait ornament from separate photos, if needed.

       Each ornament is coated inside with your choice of color; I always recommend a pearl or champagne fill (only with a gold accent). The portrait is painted on the outside of the ornament and a solid colored ring frames the outside of the portrait. The ring frames can be painted in either silver or gold, or another color of your choosing.

       A special phrase, message, name or year are some examples of text that can be added to the back of the ornament at no extra charge! The color choice for the text is usually the same color as the frame around the portrait. I choose a font choice that I feel will be appropriate. Finally, all artwork is sealed on top to prevent scratching and fading. 

       Multiple ornaments with the same portrait is an available option. Please note that because each portrait is hand painted, you will notice slight differences on each finished product.  Because each ornament is a hand crafted piece of art, I do not offer a discount for multiples.

       Custom ornaments are a lovely holiday keepsake treasure! Practically anything can be painted onto the ornaments and several sizes are available to choose from. In addition to being hand painted, I will add any glitters or gems, if needed, to add a special touch to the piece! Finally, all artwork is sealed on top to prevent scratching and fading. 

       Pricing varies depending on the complexity of the design and size of ornament you choose. These ornaments can also be personalized with a name, date or special message at no extra charge!
